The Hispanic Heritage Association of Northwest Louisiana (HHANWLA) is seeking dedicated volunteers to serve on our 2026-2027 committees.

Who Can Apply?
✔ Must be 18 years or older
✔ Live or work in the Shreveport-Bossier area
✔ Interested in serving and strengthening the Hispanic community
✔ Community leaders, business professionals, educators, college students, and committed volunteers are encouraged to apply

Selection Process
Applications will be reviewed by the HHANWLA Board of Directors.
Selected applicants will be notified by July 10, 2026.

Awards & Recognition Committee
This committee is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and selecting individuals,
businesses, and organizations to be recognized by HHANWLA for their contributions to
the Hispanic community and the development of Northwest Louisiana.
Annual Gala & Special Events Committee
To plan, coordinate, and execute HHANWLA’s Annual Gala and other special events
that support the organization’s mission, strengthen community relationships, and
generate resources for HHANWLA programs.
Executive Planning Committee
To support the Board of Directors in developing strategies, programs, initiatives, and
partnerships that promote the growth and sustainability of HHANWLA during the 2026-
2027 term.
