Purpose
This committee is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and selecting individuals,
businesses, and organizations to be recognized by HHANWLA for their contributions to
the Hispanic community and the development of Northwest Louisiana.

Responsibilities
Review and evaluate nominations received.
Research and verify nominee information when necessary.
Participate in discussions and voting processes.
Select candidates who best represent the values and mission of HHANWLA.
Maintain confidentiality and impartiality throughout the selection process.

Ideal Candidate
Knowledge of the local Hispanic community.
Ability to evaluate candidates objectively.
Interest in recognizing leadership and community service.
Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and transparency.

Time Commitment
One meeting per month.
Last Thursday of each month.
Meeting Time: 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM.​
