HHANWLA Scholarship App

The Hispanic Heritage Association of Northwest Louisiana (HHANWLA) was established in 2021 with the objective of creating an association devoted to the progression and development of Hispanics in the region, including culture, education, health, sports, business, arts, and more, through events and partnerships with other associations. We consider education a important part of the progression of our local youth. As part of HHANWLA's education efforts, the Scholarship Fund was established in 2023 to provide scholarships to Latino students attending colleges and universities.

TERMS: The Scholarship Council will award scholarships to qualified Latino students who are enrolled or are planning to enroll in accredited colleges or universities in the United States. Awards will range from $250 to $1,000. All awards will be presented at the Noche de Gala on October 12, 2024. It is preferred that you accept the scholarship at the Gala.
